All rights reserved.

ASysT (the "Software") is proprietary software. It is NOT open source and NOT
free software. It is distributed by the author through official channels only
(the Visual Studio Code Marketplace listing published by the author, and
distributions the author provides directly). Installing or using the Software
means you accept this license.

The Software has two feature tiers:
  - "Free features": the features available without a license key.
  - "Pro features": the features that require a valid, paid license key
    ("Key"), as designated by the author in the Software or its listing.

1. LIMITED GRANT (FREE FEATURES). Subject to this license, you are granted a
   personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable
   license to install the Software from an official channel and use its Free
   features on systems you control, solely for personal use, learning, and
   internal evaluation. Any other use — including production or commercial
   use — requires a Key and is licensed under Section 2. The author may
   modify, suspend, or discontinue the Software, any feature, or this license
   at any time.

2. PRO FEATURES AND KEYS. Pro features may be used only with a valid Key,
   by the single named individual (or the designated number of users) the Key
   was issued to. A Key is valid for ONE (1) YEAR from issuance unless the
   author states otherwise in writing; when it expires, Pro features revert
   to locked and continued use of the Software falls back to Section 1. Keys
   are non-transferable and may not be shared, published, resold, or pooled;
   a Key may embed the licensee's identity, and exports or artifacts may be
   marked accordingly. Payment, renewal, and refund terms are stated at the
   point of sale.

3. RESTRICTIONS. Except as expressly permitted in Sections 1-2, you may NOT:
   (a) distribute, publish, resell, sublicense, rent, lease, lend, host for
       third parties, or otherwise make the Software (or any part, copy, or
       derivative of it) available to any third party;
   (b) upload or re-publish the Software to any marketplace, registry, app
       store, or repository — only the author distributes the Software;
   (c) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to
       derive the source code or internal design of the Software, except to
       the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
   (d) circumvent, disable, or interfere with any license, Key validation,
       feature-gating, usage-metering, or watermarking mechanism, including
       removing or obscuring the Free-tier watermark from exports;
   (e) remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary or copyright notice;
   (f) use the Software to build a competing product, or use it on behalf of
       any third party as a service.

4. RESERVATION OF RIGHTS. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by
   the author. No rights are granted by implication, estoppel, or otherwise.

5. FEEDBACK. Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide about the
   Software may be used by the author for any purpose, without restriction,
   attribution, or compensation. Send feedback, feature requests, and bug
   reports to asyst.rendering@gmail.com.

6. OWNERSHIP. The Software is licensed, not sold. The author retains all
   right, title, and interest in and to the Software and all
   intellectual-property rights in it.

7. THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS. The Software bundles open-source components under
   permissive licenses (MIT, BSD, Apache-2.0). Those components are not
   covered by this license and remain under their own; their required notices
   are in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md, which accompanies every copy of the
   Software.

8. PRIVACY. The Software runs locally. Key activation may transmit the Key
   and minimal technical data to the author's licensing provider solely to
   validate the Key.

9. NO WARRANTY. THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY
   KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF
   MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY
    CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT,
    TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR
    ITS USE.

11. TERMINATION. This license terminates automatically if you breach it, or
    upon notice from the author. On termination you must stop using the
    Software and delete all copies in your possession. Sections 4-10 survive
    termination.
